About the Brand New Days Zine

Brand New Days is a non-profit Persona fanzine. No previous experience will be required as this zine is designed to be accessible and give experience. In this project, contributors can write or draw about their favorite persona users going on a camping trip! This AU consists of all persona users as their regular student selves and the velvet attendants as camp counselors. As for who runs the zine, we have a couple of first time mods, but also ones who are experienced. All who are aiming to make this zine a fun and positive experience! As of now, we are accepting all applicants. We hope you can support us through this project till the very end of it!

The only characters that can be in this zine include all main line persona users from P1-P5, spin off titles/exclusive versions (Marie, Kasumi, Zen and Rei, Labrys, etc), and the Velvet Attendees.

FAQ

Q: What is a zine?
A zine is a collaborative fan-project where fans of a certain media come together to create a book of fanworks!

Q: What is the theme of this zine?
Our zine theme is “camping,” and particularly centered around the idea of a summer camp type situation, with the velvet room attendants as camp counsellors!

Q: Will ships be allowed in this zine?
Yes! However please no inappropriate ships, for example no P3/P5 ships, no ships between teenagers and adults, etc. Even though they will most likely be depicted as the same age in the works the age gap is very uncomfortable. If you are unsure of a ship being inappropriate please just ask!

Q: Is NSFW content allowed?
No. Brand New Days is a SFW zine!

Q: Can I participate if I’m under 18?
Yes, however you must be at least 13.

Q: Will spin-off characters be allowed?
Yes! Characters allowed in the zine are listed in the about section.! If you are unsure or the character isn’t listed, just ask!

Q: Will it be physical or digital?
Digital Only! This is a free for fun zine!

Q: Is there a participation limit? Is there a possibility of me not being accepted?
No! However if we get a lot of applications we will make multiple “volumes” so we don’t have a 300 page pdf. The only way we will decline you is if you do not meet the requirements above, or you are dismissed from the zine for violating rules and guidelines.

Q: How are you accepted? How will we know when we are accepted? Will you inform us if we are declined?
We will send acceptance emails to your email, along with a form for you to fill! For this zine we will be accepting everyone as long as you follow the criteria listed above.

Q: Is post-canon allowed?
Yes.

Q: Are there any set in stone ships?
No! All ships are a-ok as long as they are appropriate!

Q: Can I draw Marie?
Yes! All velvet attendants are a-ok; however they play a camp counselor role instead of a camper role.

Q: What canvas size is preferred?
B5 size is preferred!

Q: Does fanart need to be full color full background?
Yes! These need to be full pieces.

Q: Can we have crossovers between games?
Yes! That is encouraged! The casts interacting is one the best parts of the content!
